AVGO

I completed this luminaire project over the course of six weeks, in the Spring of 2022 at Parsons School of Design.

Avgo is a stacked ceramic table lamp that provides a soft and warm glow at the dinner table. The bowl-like shapes of Avgo are meant to be reminiscent of stacked bowls and aim to create a unified environment with the tableware used at a restaurant.

What drove me to create a luminaire in this style was my exploration into how light influences our mood during meal time, market research, and several user interviews.
