storage stool

I completed this stool in the Fall of 2022 at Parsons School of Design.

Through this project, I wanted to push the boundaries of what a stool can be and the ways in which it can function. I decided to create a stool that could be utilized for both storage and rest, whilst maintaining a playful and fun profile.

This was a fast paced project with four weeks to ideate, plan, design and produce the stool. Furthermore, through the color palette of this project I wanted to evoke a sense of glee.

I wanted to create a playful stool that was vibrant and fun, through the use of colorful rope and a complimentary color for fastening.

Both my chair shown in the previous slide and my stool where displayed in a chair exhibition hosted by Parsons in the Spring of 2023.
