This chair project was completed in the Fall of 2022 at Parsons School of Design.

For this final project I aimed to create a tidy yet playful chair that made people curious about how it would feel to sit in it, and what emotions it would evoke.

The tension of the rope is meant to trick the eye into thinking that the sitting experience will be uncomfortable, when in reality it embraces your figure and allows for an extra layer of comfort between the hardwood and the body.
