Modular Needlework Chair

The Needlework Chair began with a personal frustration and a survey of over 150 needlework enthusiasts that revealed a consistent and largely unaddressed problem: poor posture, cluttered workspaces, and a near-total absence of furniture designed with the crafter in mind. The response is a modular, ergonomic chair designed to sit within HAY's product line, with stackable armrests, integrated yarn bowls, generous storage compartments, lumbar support, and an upholstered footrest, each decision coming directly from the research.
