nesting tables

I completed this project during the Spring of 2023 at Parsons School of Design; I created a set of two nesting tables made of white oak and laser-cut acrylic.

The top faces of both tables are made of different interchangeable bright colored acrylic cutouts which when stacked, create beautiful and intriguing shadows. When the tables are nestled, the patterns become even more colorful, inviting the user to play around with the order of the acrylic sheets.
