In the Fall of 2023 an external partnership was formed between Parsons School of Design and Brompton to explore the intersection of design, urban movement, public space, and cycling culture. Alongside my friend and collaborator Phoebe Mak, I received one of three prizes for this semester-long competition which explored how the limits of sanitary handling of bikes could be expanded.

We designed a piece of furniture for the entryway of a home designed to store disinfect the Brompton using UV-C technology whilst providing users a space to lean on and store other necessary belongings. We chose to have users lean on the product instead of sit, to accommodate users on the go.
