hand-thrown ceramics

A parallel practice developed alongside formal studies, driven by a desire to improve technique and stay close to the material. Working with speckled clay, yellow and creamy white glazes, and a loose openness to form, these pieces came from a process of just making. The speckle became something to love for its playful character and raw honesty, and the work expanded over time to include handles, mugs, and a growing range of forms.
